The level of the machine is a key step in machine debugging. All the rotary drums of the machine must be in a horizontal state to keep the machine running smoothly. If the machine is not level, the work of bearings and gears will be seriously affected, and the quality of the printed products will be damaged.
As mentioned before, the paper feeding part and the paper receiving part serve the printing unit, so the printing unit is the absolute benchmark for the debugging of the entire machine. When looking for the level, you should first find the level of the printing unit, and then find the level of the feeding part and the receiving part.

To find the level of the printing unit, you should first find the level of the bottom bracket. If the level of the bottom bracket is not good, the level above cannot be guaranteed. How to find the level of the bottom bracket? The bottom bracket generally has two guide rails: one transmission surface and one operation surface. Since the transmission system of the machine is mostly transmission gears, most of them are installed on the transmission surface. If this level cannot be guaranteed, the machine will not run smoothly. So relatively speaking, the level of the transmission surface is more important than the level of the operation surface. It can be seen from the above analysis that the level of the transmission surface (line level) is the absolute reference of the entire machine level, and the level of the two bottom brackets is the absolute reference of the entire machine level. According to the relationship of the reference, when looking for the level, you should first find the level of the bottom bracket of the transmission surface, then the level of the two bottom brackets, and then the level of the height direction. In general, as long as the bottom support level is guaranteed, there should not be any problems with the level of the height direction, because the level of the height direction is directly related to the accuracy of the processing and installation of the machine, otherwise some components will have to be reinstalled, and they must be replaced in serious cases. device. Therefore, the level in the height direction is used to check the level of the machine base. When the user installs, the level of the machine base is also adjusted.

When looking for the level of the bottom bracket of the transmission surface, according to the principle of two points and one line, the position of one point should be determined first, and then another point should be adjusted. When the two points are basically on a horizontal line, the five-calibration method can be used to further improve the horizontal accuracy of the machine. After finding the level of the driving surface bottom support, look for a little horizontally on the operating surface and the horizontal of the driving surface. Pay attention to the horizontal position of the driving surface when finding the level of the operating surface. After that, find the level between the whole operation surface and the transmission surface. Further analysis of the level of the bottom bracket with the relationship of the reference shows that the level of the bottom bracket of the transmission surface is the absolute reference of the bottom surface level, and the horizontal level between the operating surface and the transmission surface is the relative reference of the bottom surface level, so the adjustment must be based on the reference Carry out the order in sequence and do not reverse the adjustment.

When looking for a level, a dedicated level is generally used. The level must be in good working order, otherwise the level of the machine cannot be detected, so the level should be sent to the measurement center for calibration regularly.

After the bottom support level is found, you can put the spirit level on the impression cylinder to check whether the cylinder is level. Sometimes it is necessary to put the spirit level on the ink fountain roller and the water fountain roller to check whether the ink path and the water path are parallel to the axis of the impression cylinder.

The level of the printing unit is different from machine to machine. For some machines, the first group is the horizontal benchmark, for some machines, the second group is the horizontal benchmark, and for some machines, the combination of the two is the horizontal benchmark, so for specific machines, the horizontal benchmark should be set according to the installation instructions.

After the horizontal reference is determined, the other printing units are relative references. The reference level is very important. If the reference level is not adjusted properly, it will bring great difficulty to the subsequent unit level adjustment. Therefore, the reference level must be corrected repeatedly. The higher the accuracy, the better.

It is worth noting that the base of the spirit level and the parts used to check the level should be kept strictly clean, otherwise it will cause measurement errors. It is best to repeatedly scrub these parts with gasoline or warm water.

The specific operations to find the level are as follows:

①Check the accuracy of the spirit level, place the spirit level on a certain plane, and record its reading (if the bubble is at one end of the spirit level, you should adjust the level of the level, so that the bubble moves to the place where there is a range above the spirit level. Adjust to the middle part), then turn the spirit level 180 °, and measure again in the original place. If the two measurement results are the same or the error is extremely small, the accuracy of the spirit level can be considered to meet the requirements, otherwise the cause should be carefully found. If the contact surface is not suitable, replace it with another plane and retest; if the cleanliness of the contact surface is not enough, it should be cleaned and then measured; in addition, pay attention to whether the positions of the positive and negative measurements are on the same straight line. If none of these reasons exist, the spirit level should be replaced.

Since the measurement surfaces are parallel, as long as the operation is correct, the results in any measurement plane should be the same. Two vertical measurements should be made in a plane. If the gas cell moves to the measurement part, it means that the part is at the highest position. The support screw can be rotated to move the machine downward; if one of the bubbles moves to the measurement part, one does not Displacement to the measurement part indicates that the part is not the highest position, and the other measurement planes should be measured again until the measurement planes that all move to the measurement part are found and adjusted as described above. If you can find the measurement plane where the bubbles move in the opposite direction of the measurement part, it means that the part is the lowest position of the machine. You can raise the support screw below it, but generally you should find the highest position. If the measurement results in the two measurement planes are exactly the same (in both directions), it means that one side of the machine is high or low at the same time. If the operating surface is high, the support screw in this part should be rotated simultaneously. The level measurement of the machine base is only the first step to find the level. Then the level of the impression cylinder should be measured. If it does not meet the requirements, the level of the base should be recalibrated.
