Printronix's SLPA7000r MP2 Printer

The SLPA7000rMP2 printer builds on Printronix's 5r multi-technology platform and is an automated RFID tag encoding, printing, and labeling solution. The machine adopts EPCglobal's 2nd generation RFID encoding specifications to meet the rapid and automated production requirements of RFID and thermal bar code labels under the manufacturing and distribution environment.

The SLPA7000rMP2 was evolved from the SLPA7000e model machine introduced by Printronix in July 2004. The SLPA7000rMP2 encodes a variety of sizes and forms of RFID tags to provide users with more choices. The print speed is 60/min. With the assistance of other manufacturing equipment, the SLPA7000rMP2 can also encode, print and paste at a faster speed. Standard, if installed in a chain structure, can achieve higher print speeds. It is equipped with an intelligent media detection device. If a user places a non-RFID printing job on a printer that has an RFID tag, the machine will notify the user to perform a remote alarm so that the standard bar code printing operation can be performed.
