Cast film and thin wall injection moulding mpp new grade

Swiss material manufacturer Basel AG has introduced a new grade of highly viscous homopolymerized metallocene polypropylene (mPP) designed to meet the growing demand in the field of cast film and injection molding. Basel has introduced Metocene X11291-55-1 for cast films. This grade has high optical performance and good sealing performance, and can be used for stationary applications, medical packaging materials, and composite materials. For injection molding, the company introduced the high melt flow grade Metocene HM640T, which reduces distortion and improves dimensional stability. In addition, it has high transparency and hardness. Thin-walled injection molded parts such as food containers and multimedia packaging are expected to be used in applications.
