In the United States, a modern and novel packaging of Nestle's instant coffee was introduced, replacing the original glass jars and screw caps with the Nestle logo in convenient, easily dispenseable plastic containers and caps. The new packaging design is based on revitalizing the Nestlé brand and entering the North American market again with the leading brand Nescafe.
The newly packaged elliptical film and plastic retains some of the curved portions of the original glass container, and the curved portion is close to the cover, making the package easy to handle. Most of the improvements are focused on the closure of the hinged polypropylene, the customary design, and the exquisitely capped injection film. The lid is dark brown and presents a short protrusion for hand use on the neck of the can, which can be pushed directly. After the pressure is applied to the neck, the top of the lid is opened and it is easy to obtain a good amount of instant coffee particles. Cover protruding parts can play the role of latching, the correct lock so that the product is safely sealed after use. The unconventional dimensions are 76mm and 82mm. There are four sizes of oval caps for instant coffee, 4, 7, 10, and 12 oz. Half of the top lid is molded into Nescafe, and the other half is Nestle nameplate and trademark. All coffee is wrapped in a full shrink label.
