[Abstract] The present invention relates to a new method of waste disposal of PVC plastics, in particular to providing a new method that is simple, practical and capable of rapidly photocatalytically degrading waste PVC without affecting the transparency of the PVC product. The invention is characterized in that a photocatalyst heteropoly compound is added into the PVC plastic, the film is evenly formed, and under the irradiation of light, the unique oxidation-reduction property of the heteropoly compound is used to achieve rapid photocatalytic oxidation degradation of the PVC. The advantages of the present invention are mainly two points: (1) Most of the heteropoly compounds are non-toxic and colorless, and meet the conditions of being a PVC transparent packaging material additive. (2) Heteropoly compounds can rapidly and efficiently photocatalytically degrade PVC. Its photocatalytic efficiency is higher than that of TiO#-[2], a semiconductor nanomaterial with excellent performance. (3) Heteropoly compounds have a variety of different structures and compositions, which determine their different catalytic activities in photocatalytic degradation of plastics, which helps to control the degradation time of photodegradable plastics.
