New Green Label Adhesive Comes to Xi'an

Recently, a domestically-developed new-type high-speed label adhesive with its own intellectual property rights was formally inspected by the Shaanxi Province Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute. Relevant experts believe that the new modified casein polysaccharide protein label glue independently developed by Xi'an Huading Bio-Chemical Co., Ltd. fills the blank of domestic production of label gum from plants, and its main technical indicators are ahead of international similar products, and Quality and cheap, green, easy to use, can completely replace the current use of high-priced casein glue.

It is understood that chemical glue is inexpensive but harmful to human health, and is a rubber species that is prohibited from being used as a label for beer by the state. Casein gum is currently a common beer labeling glue, but its price is relatively high, and the price of imported casein glue is even more expensive. To reduce costs, some companies use chemical and synthetic adhesives to apply labels. Not only is it beneficial to the environment but also can reduce production costs. It has become a major bottleneck in the development of edible label glues. The country has earmarked funds for R&D but it has not been effectively solved for a long time. This time, Xi'an Huading adopts biodegradation and damping production technology, scientifically combining animal protein with plant protein, and finally molding with a special process. This not only turns the reality that the academic community believes is unlikely to become a reality, but also uses plants. As a basic raw material, the production cost is reduced, and the environmental protection performance is improved; and through the improvement of the traditional process, the raw materials are fully cross-linked and the viscosity of the product is greatly improved. The glue belongs to the water-soluble rubber species and has better performance. It can fully meet the requirements of high-speed labeling on the quality of the glue and can be used by labelers with more than 20,000 bottles/hour. The combination of low prices and the amount of glue used for high-speed labeling will reduce the cost of plastics used by beer companies by more than one-half.

The new modified casein polysaccharide polysaccharide gelatin has changed the main raw materials used in casein collagen, creating a new way for processing value-added agricultural products. It is reported that in order to further reduce costs and expand the use of agricultural plants, technicians are currently studying the production of such high-speed label glues using corn and other raw materials.
