Polypropylene double hollow bottle packaging

Henkel's Spanish subsidiary recently used a polypropylene double-layer hollow bottle made by Milliken Chemicals to solve the problem of a mouthwash package containing two incompatible chemicals (peroxide and alcohol). According to Henkel's packaging engineering manager Manuel Bertomeu, the company chose polypropylene instead of PET or PVC, considering the complexity of its product packaging design and cost factors.
The Licor Del Polo Blanco Polar mouthwash has been launched in Spain and Portugal.
