China's epoxy resin cryogenic corrosion technology has made progress

The anti-corrosion technology under low-temperature conditions of China's epoxy resin was developed by the Changsha Chemical Research Institute, an important institute of China's anti-corrosion research, and has made progress in the near future.
China's epoxy resin curing, anti-corrosion and plugging technology can only adapt to the environment above 0 °C, can reach 0 °C that is known as low-temperature products. This situation is far from the world level, and it is even more difficult to meet the anti-corrosion requirements of domestic low-temperature environments.
To this end, Changsha Chemical Institute aims at this issue and carries out technical research. According to reports, their goal is positioned at minus 10 degrees Celsius. After successful product development, they can largely replace imports. Experts believe that the technology is of great significance in fields such as water conservancy projects, national defense projects, and oil field plugging, smelting and antisepsis.
