8. Do not use acidic or alkaline substances as heating media.
Do not use organic solvents as heating medium. Organic solvents are volatile and neurotoxic. When exposed to or exposed to acidic materials, vapors or samples, they should be washed immediately, neutralized with a mild sodium bicarbonate solution or other similar solution, and rinsed with water.
