4. It is best to add a small amount of zeolite (or broken porcelain) to the bottom of the bottle before distillation to prevent bumping.
5. When heating, it should be placed on the asbestos mesh to make it evenly heated.
6. After the distillation is completed, the piston must be closed before the heating is stopped to prevent reverse suction.
7. The position of the mercury ball of the thermometer during distillation should be flush with the lower edge of the branch mouth of the distillation flask.
