Mr. Nie suspected that the fake furniture was sent for inspection at his own expense.

At the end of 2015, during the renovation of his new house, Mr. Nie received many calls from Wuhan Bohang Yitong Decoration Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Unification Home”), and the sales staff invited her to visit the store and purchase furniture.

In January last year, Mr. Nie and his wife came to visit the unified home of Jingjing City in the development of Jianghan District. The furniture samples in the store are high-end atmosphere, the sales staff also promised to give the cost price concessions, the couple can not help but feel the heart, signed an agreement on the spot, purchased a number of Wujinmu finished furniture, including beds, sofas, TV cabinets, coffee tables, etc., a total of 92,000 yuan.

At the end of the month, Mr. Nie also customized a batch of furniture to the unified home, including wardrobes, wooden doors, shoe cabinets, wine cabinets and so on. In order to maintain the uniform style of decoration, he requested that these furniture be made of Wujinmu. Three months later, the company said that Wujinmu was out of stock and suggested changing to South American cherry wood. Mr. Nie agreed. This piece of furniture, he spent a total of 145,000 yuan.

In May, custom wooden doors were installed. At the end of June, when installing the shoe cabinet and the wine cabinet, Mr. Nie found that the color of the plate and the wooden door were different, and the color plate of the unified home display was also very different. He suspected that there was a problem with the furniture material, and he communicated with the unified home many times. The other party claimed that there was absolutely no fraud. So he searched for information on the plate and saw a lot of negative information about the unification of the home, and his heart was even less practical.

At the end of August last year, Mr. Nie cut a piece from the extra skirting board and sent it to the Institute of Wood Industry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry for testing, which cost 1,600 yuan. According to the test report issued by the institute, the inspection wood is not South American cherry wood, but eucalyptus.

The store said that the single-party local inspection is not accurate

"The price of eucalyptus is much lower than that of South American cherry wood. This is entirely in the pit consumer!" After receiving the test report, Mr. Nie was very angry. In September last year, he wrote a complaint material, attached a test report, and reported to the Jianghan District Industrial and Commercial Bureau, asking the unified home to pay three times the original price. The Fair Trade Bureau of the branch organized mediation, but because of the disagreement between Mr. Nie and Yitong Home on the amount of compensation, the two sides broke up.

Mr. Nie said that since then, the unified home staff had called his client and hoped to be private, but the two sides still could not reach an agreement on the amount of compensation, and finally they could not.

On December 4 last year, Mr. Nie asked Chutian Metropolis Daily for help. The reporter accompanied him to the unification home, and the manager arranged the reception of the person in charge of the customization department. The person in charge said that Mr. Nie was unilaterally sent for inspection and the company could not confirm the authenticity of the test results. Moreover, Mr. Nie sent only the skirting wood, which was a partial inspection. It could not be said that all the furniture he had customized in the shop had problems.

The staff of the store said that the contract between the two parties stipulated: "Because this product is a custom-made product, solid wood and veneer are natural materials. The finished product may have color and texture differences with the showroom samples and swatches. It is a normal phenomenon, not It is a quality issue."

Angry sawing furniture sent for inspection twice confirmed doubt

For the statement of the unified home, Mr. Nie decided to test the furniture material again.

On the morning of December 6, last year, under the witness of the Chutian Metropolis Daily reporter, Mr. Nie held a hacksaw and saw a piece of wood from the closet door and the TV cabinet drawer. In order to ensure the authenticity of the sample, the reporter handwritten two notes, which were respectively attached to two wooden boards, in which the wardrobe board marked "No. 1 sample" and the TV cabinet board marked "No. 2 sample". Mr. Nie completed the entrusted test form and sent two samples to the Institute of Wood Industry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry. During the delivery process, the reporter supervised the whole process to ensure that the samples were not replaced.

The test cost a total of 3,800 yuan. At the end of the month, Mr. Nie received a test report showing that sample No. 1 was eucalyptus and sample No. 2 was ginseng.

Xu Youming, a professor at the School of Horticulture and Forestry of Huazhong Agricultural University and a member of the China Forestry Society, said that the scientific name of South American cherry wood is eucalyptus, medium density, fine texture, uniform and smooth, with good wood bending performance, heart color from bright red to brown red. After sun exposure, the color becomes darker; Alder is a birch family, also known as alder wood, red oak, color, texture and South American cherry wood, but the material must be at least one grade lower. In terms of market price, South American cherry wood is about 7,000 yuan / cubic meter, and eucalyptus is about 3,500 yuan / cubic meter.

The game shoes are genus Sumu, also known as small zebra wood, red wujinmu, etc., mainly produced in West Africa, the wood stability is not high, the local is generally used to make crafts.

Business and industry recognized businesses suspected of multiple violations

On January 16 this year, Chutian Metropolis Daily reporter accompanied Mr. Nie and submitted the second inspection report to the Fair Trade Bureau of Jianghan District Industrial and Commercial Branch. The investigators said that it was found that Mr. Nie’s two inspection reports were valid and could be regarded as case evidence. Previously, the bureau organized unsuccessful mediation and has already initiated an investigation.

According to the investigators, there is no scientific name for the name of South American cherry wood in China's main imported timber name standard. It is only the name of the commodity, and the corresponding scientific name should be the eucalyptus. At the time of the investigation, Unification Home admitted that the name of the “South American Cherry Wood” was used in the promotion of the shopping guide, which was suspected of false propaganda and misleading the consumers; in addition, the store received the price according to the price of South American cherry wood, but the coffin was sold to consumers. It is suspected of violating the Product Quality Law, the Consumer Protection Law, and the Contract Law. The merchant said that he was "wrong" and was willing to make compensation.

In this case, why is there no result? The case handler said that the case involved the case was large and professional, and the merchant had not provided the original purchase certificate, and the bureau could not confirm the illegal income.
