In addition, the user's operation method and basic maintenance are also the factors that determine whether the large-format color inkjet printer can work normally and be used for a long time. 1. Make the large-format color inkjet printer in the best working condition
Large-format color inkjet printers are relatively expensive precision instruments. For it to be able to print beautiful large-format color images, it must work in its best condition. The important condition for keeping it in the best printing state for a long time is to operate according to chapters and be diligent in maintenance. Although the use of large-format color inkjet printers is not complicated, users still need to develop the habit of strictly following the instructions to complete the entire operation, especially to develop the correct habit of switching on and off. For users, the switch is the simplest operation, but also the most important maintenance measures. There are many control keys on the printer panel, and there is also a power switch key. The power switch is not directly communicated with the external power supply, but controls the external power supply through its own related control.
Every time the printer is turned on or off, the printer must perform system initialization. These initialization tasks include positioning and resetting the print head and printing paper, detecting whether the top cover of the printer panel is closed, charging the ink tank nozzles, and automatically cleaning the print head. When the system is turned on by the power switch on the printer, the system can correctly position the print head and the paper after initialization. When the system is turned off, the system will automatically reset the print head and the paper after initialization. This not only ensures the normal operation of the printer. 2. Provide a good environment for use
Thousands of tiny nozzles are distributed on the large nozzles of large-format color inkjet printers. So many nozzles directly face the printing paper when printing, and are exposed when not working. Because the nozzle aperture size is equivalent to the dust floating in the space, if the printer's working environment is poor and there is a lot of dust, the small nozzles are easily contaminated and blocked by the dust. If the indoor humidity is too high, not only the basic mechanical parts of the expensive printer are easily corroded, but even the nozzle is difficult to ensure that it will not be corroded. The temperature range of the printer's working environment should not be too large, because the large-format color inkjet printer contains not only a large number of metal parts, but also a large number of engineering plastic parts, and the nozzle aperture is very slim, if the ambient temperature changes too fast The thermal expansion of the parts will cause excessive wear of the mechanical parts, and the change in the nozzle aperture size will also affect the print quality.
3. Maintenance of the print head
The print head is most likely to block the orifice due to excessive printing time, improper use of ink, or long-term use. Of course, the use of poor quality ink cartridges can also cause clogging of the nozzles and affect print quality. In severe cases, the entire print head may even be scrapped. However, in the application of large-format color inkjet printers, because the printing time is generally long, no one will inevitably encounter nozzle clogging. However, when encountering such events, we must deal with them very early, and must not be small. The loss is large, resulting in undue loss. Although the manufacturing process of the print head is delicate, its structure is not complicated. The surface directly in contact with the printing medium is covered with many small round holes. The nozzle is connected to the nozzle inserted into the ink cartridge. From the nozzle to the nozzle and around the nozzle, toner or adhesive with strong adhesion due to dryness often remains. Impurities, as long as these toners and impurities are removed, the print head can resume normal printing.
Most of the seemingly scrapped printheads are only temporarily clogged with orifices and cannot work. In order to restore their printing function, in fact, they can be done with a simple flushing method. For normal printing, but the lack of strokes or colors, or the slight clogging of the image at high resolution, this problem is generally solved by the nozzle cleaning program that comes with the printer. This is also a method that the staff needs to frequently use and is worth noting. On the other hand, if slight nozzle holes are blocked, such as lack of strokes or poor color, it should be cleaned as soon as possible. This is the simplest and best maintenance method.
In the printing process, the machine is frequently filled with ink or the nozzles are cleaned, but the printing effect is still poor or the print head nozzle is seriously blocked, the machine cannot be filled with ink, or the printer refuses to work. Only manual cleaning methods can be used. Although the manual cleaning method is not complicated, but because the nozzle needs to be disassembled, the cleaning frequency should not be too much or too complicated. The manual cleaning method is to use a syringe and a piece of rubber tube that can be put on the needle, a cleaning solution (such as bottled purified water), a magnifying glass about ten times, a hard plastic knife and other tools. After removing the printing cart, use the magnifying glass to carefully find the blocked nozzle, use a rubber tube to cover the nozzle of the blocked nozzle, and then use the syringe to pour the cleaning fluid into the nozzle, if necessary, use a hard plastic knife to scrape the edge of the nozzle Residues.
