On January 9, under the supervision of customs officers in Hangzhou, 10 TEUs and a total of more than 110 tons of waste paper were shipped from Zhejiang Jiaxing Port and returned to the exporting country. This is the first batch of super-standard waste paper that Hangzhou Customs has supervised and returned this year.
The waste paper was declared to enter the country from the Jiaxing Port of Jiaxing. When the Customs officers of Hangzhou Customs were inspected by Jiaxing Customs, they found that the waste paper was doped with more waste plastics, waste fabrics, scrap metal and other debris. After testing by relevant departments, the impurity entrainment ratio of this batch of waste paper is 0.7%, which does not meet the relevant environmental protection control standards for solid wastes in China, and is returned to the country according to law.
