Abstract: According to the national recommended standard GB/T 13519-2016, this paper uses Labthink MXD-02 friction coefficient meter to detect the friction coefficient of polyethylene shrink film samples produced by a company, and the test process, equipment parameters, application range and The test principle and other contents are introduced to provide reference for enterprises to strengthen the friction coefficient performance test and quality monitoring of polyethylene shrink film.

1, meaning
The friction coefficient is an important factor affecting the ease of use of materials. The phenomenon of slippage, deviation, and poor opening during the use of packaging materials are all related to the improper friction coefficient. Polyethylene shrink film is a common heat shrink film material, which is commonly used in the packaging of beer, beverage, wood, ceramics, electronic products, industrial finished products, etc. If the friction of polyethylene shrink film is low, and the above products The slidability is large and the product is prone to falling off. The scrapped polyethylene shrink film national standard GB/T 13519-1992 "polyethylene heat shrinkable film" does not involve the friction coefficient, and its replacement standard GB/T 13519-2016 "packaging polyethylene heat shrinkable film" (2016 In November 1st, the friction coefficient was included in the investigation of other properties of the polyethylene shrink film. Although the standard did not make specific index requirements for the friction coefficient, only the supply and demand sides negotiated, but the polyethylene shrinks. Therefore, the detection and control of the friction coefficient of polyethylene shrink film is an effective way to improve its performance, and it is also the basic requirement of the standard.
2, testing basis
GB/T 13519-2016 specifies the friction coefficient according to the requirements of GB 10006-1988 "Method for determination of friction coefficient of plastic film and sheet". GB10006 is suitable for non-stick plastic film and sheet with thickness less than 0.2mm on the surface of itself or other materials. Test of static friction coefficient and dynamic friction coefficient when sliding.
3, test samples
The sample tested in this test is a polyethylene shrink film produced by a company, and the coefficient of friction between the test sample and the glass.
4, testing equipment

4.1 Principle of the test
The friction coefficient is the ratio of the friction between the two contact surfaces and the vertical force acting on one of the surfaces. In this test, the test sample is set to the test speed and the friction surface by applying a certain pressure to the sample. The coefficient of friction of the sample is obtained by the value of the tensile force at the time of relative sliding.
4.2 Scope of application
(1) This equipment is specially used to measure plastic film and sheet, rubber, paper, cardboard, woven bag, textile, non-woven fabric, metal composite tape for communication cable, conveyor belt, wood, coating, brake pad, wiper Static friction coefficient and dynamic friction coefficient when materials such as shoe materials and tires slide. It can also be used for the determination of the slipperiness of daily necessities such as cosmetics and eye drops.
(2) This equipment can meet many national and international standards such as GB 10006, ISO 8295, ASTM D1894, TAPPI T816.
4.3 Test parameters
The equipment can simultaneously measure the dynamic and static friction coefficient of the sample in one test; the test load range is 0 ~ 5 N, and the test accuracy is 0.5 grade; according to different test standards, the equipment has 70 mm and 150 mm tests. The stroke is available for selection; the standard slider quality used in the equipment is 200 g. The sliders of other weights can be customized according to specific needs; the instrument test bench and test slider are demagnetized and residual magnetism, which effectively reduces system test error. .
5, the test process
(1) Cut 3 pieces of 8 cm × 20 cm sample from the sample of polyethylene shrink film to be tested, and use the inner surface of the sample as the test surface. When cutting the sample, do not touch the inner surface by hand to ensure that the inner surface is not Scratched and contaminated.
(2) Fix one of the specimens on the slider, the outer surface is in direct contact with the slider, and the glass plate for friction is fixed on the steel plate of the device. During the process of fixing the sample and the glass plate, the friction zone cannot be touched by hand.
(3) Place the slider without impact on the middle of the glass plate to ensure that the force measurement system is not affected.
(4) Set test parameters such as test speed and test stroke. Click the Start Test option and the test starts.
(5) After the sample is in contact with the glass plate for 15 s, the relative movement begins. The device automatically records the change in force during the test and calculates the test results.
(6) Repeat the loading process - click the test process to test the dynamic and static friction coefficients of the remaining two samples.
6, test results
The friction coefficient of the polyethylene shrink film sample was taken as the arithmetic mean of the test results of the three samples, the static friction coefficient was 0.131, and the dynamic friction coefficient was 0.097.
7. Conclusion
The friction coefficient is an important factor affecting the packaging effect and service performance of polyethylene shrink film, and the new GB/T 13519-2016 increases the detection requirement for the friction coefficient of polyethylene shrink film. From the test process of the friction coefficient between the polyethylene shrink film sample and the glass plate, the test is simple, the equipment is easy to operate, and the friction coefficient of the polyethylene shrink film can be accurately reflected. The friction surface selected is different, and the friction coefficient measured by the same sample is different.
